KIU put memories of last weekend’s loss to KIU on the backburner as they took on the UCU Canons. In quarter one, KIU’s maestro Aden kicked off the scoring with soft points as they took the early lead. They maintained the lead as the umpires called for time out midway the half.
The visitors dragged themselves back into the game in the second quarter pulling more baskets and reducing the margin to 36-35 by the end of the half.
Aden continued to influence the game with his eye catching assists to help KIU come back in the mid mins of the 3rd quarter.
However the visitors came closer and surpassed the square at the end of the third quarter. Score line 59-60. Things that make this game interesting is that it was a very tight game and hard to call.
With exactly 4 minutes to the end of the final quarter, it was square at the KIU courts. 73-73. KIU went on to win the game with an incredible come back and the final score was 78-85.
