FT: MONGERS 12 vs 66 KOBS
A nine-try performance from the blue Army at the house of Payne. Mongers had their moments where they showed some of their quality like the Edgar Kairu penalty. To be fair, they put up a good fight and when Brian Kamanyire sent his kick through the H one would see what this Entebbe side was made of.
However Kobs were too strong for the hosts. They eased past them. Joseph Aredo had the last kick of the first half and the scores were not happy reading for Mongers at 03-45.
The Kampala boys were even more impressive in the second half with a few youngsters making their debut and impressing. Robert Masendi and youngster Trevor Madina marking their cameos for the blue army with conversions.
Such is the quality and depth of the league leaders and one wonders what it will take to stop them with two games to go and yet to lose a game this season. The win means Kobs hold onto their lead at the top of the log while Mongers have pressure piling up on them with teams around them closing in and hard matches left.
