It is number one versus number two in probably the league champion decider.

Both teams have played four games and won four with KOBs at the top of the table with a bonus point better than last year’s champions.

Both teams have played exceptionally and won everything that has come their way this season. They are the in-form teams at that and this looks like an early title decider even though there will be 5 more game weeks left after this encounter.

Both teams look just a bit weakened by the absence of star players on international duty in Dubai. This has forced some changes in the line-ups.

Heathens have now combined Jordan Bongomin and Gerald Ssewankambo for the first time this season.

Innocent Thomas Gwokto comes in as a fly half while Alhaji Manano will be paired with Justin Kimono for the task of carrying the ball forward for the Kobs.

When it comes to throwers, Faraji Odugo will feature for KOBs  while Alex Mubiru has made the cut for Heathens as main hooker.

The front row will provide shape for the two teams and will also have an impact on the outcome of the game. Both teams consist of a front row filled with much experience on the national team combined with skill and firepower to win any match. KOBs boast of Kimbowa Collins, Odugo Faraji, and Brian Odogo.

Heathens on the other hand will be looking at Santos Senteza and Saul Kivumbi in the front.

This game promises to be thrilling and the winner will have made a big statement towards winning this season’s championship. It is a winner takes all game and the players know it.

The stakes are even higher with the winner of this game receiving the Lions Cup Trophy. And with not many games expected this season, KOBs will be hoping to switch the custody of this legendary trophy from their bitter and arch rivals, Heathens.

Expect adrenaline levels to be high and entertainment at its best to keep all the rugby fans at the edge of their seats.
