FT: 19-11

By Ali Mutanje

Kobs started the game in high gear taking an early lead through a penalty by James Ijonget. Brian Asaba was sent to the sin bin and Joseph Oyet equalized for the Heathens. The two teams went into halftime tied 03:03.

Patrick Okello picked up an injury and was replaced by Arthur Mukama before Otte missed a chance to put the visitors ahead.

It was a heated affair as it lived up to its billing in the build up with both teams closely contesting for every ball.

Second half kicked off with a James Ijonget second  penalty.

There were fans and wild celebrations for every try made especially when Ijonget continued to impress with a drop kick to extend the Kobs lead after Heathens had pulled three back through an Otte Penalty.

This was the first loss suffered by Heathens this season after a perfect start to the season and this means they stay second but fall further back in points to their rivals Kobs in first position.
