Leaders Kitara FC aim to maintain top spot as Luweero United visit| FUFA Big League

Kitara FC vs Luweero United.

Kitara FC welcomes Luweero United at Kigaya play ground in the bid to stay top of the FUFA Big League table.

The match will be played on Thursday 29th of December.

The Hoima City based side claimed top spot on matchday eleven when they thumped Kyetume FC 4-1 at Kigaya play ground as on the same day Luweero United handed Mbarara City FC first loss with a 2-1 score line at Kasana play ground in Luweero.

On top of the table Kitara FC are level with NEC FC at 23 points but an eight goal difference desperates the two teams.

Mbarara City FC come third with 22 points after eleven matches.

Mark Twinamasiko coached side has won seven, drawn two and lost two. Scored 26 and Conceded 7.

They have won two, lost one and drawning one in the last four fixtures.

At home the royals (Kitara FC) has looked superior Winnie all the six games going three matches without conceding a goal.

A total of 21 goals has been scored at their home base while letting in three.

Striker Patrick Henry Kaddu is the current league top scorer with 12 goals. He has notched three in the last three matches.

On the other side Luweero United head to this fixture with their heads high after bringing Mbarara City FC unbeaten run to a stop beating them 2-1 in Luweero.

More so the Kosovo Boys (Luweero United) have won their last two games with a margin of 2-1 each against Ndejje University Fc and Mbarara City FC.

After a dramatic victory over the Ankole Lions Luweero United moved to 15 points after eleven games 8th on the table.

Four victories have been recorded by the Luweero side drawn three and lost four, Scored 13 Conceded 14 in the process.

On the road, Luweero United beat Ndejje University FC 2-1 the last time they played away from home.

The other three have ended in losses against NEC FC (2-0), Jinja North United FC (1-0) and Calvary FC (4-2).

Their has three meetings between the two teams each winning one the other ending into a draw.

Their last meeting was in Masindi where Kitara FC beat Luweero United 2-1.
