Luweero United welcomes Mbarara City FC at Kasana play ground in the bid to end the Ankole Lions unbeaten record this season.
The Kosovo Boys sit 10th on the log with 12 points after ten matches.
They have won three, drawn three, lost three, scoring eleven and conceding thirteen in the process.
Coming to this fixture, coach Calvin Paul Mugerwa’s side claimed a 2-1 away win over struggling Ndejje University FC with goals coming from Balyejusa Isaac and Boris Onegi.
They have kept two clean sheets in the previous four games, winning and losing one the other being a victory.
At home, this is their sixth match. Two wins have been registered, two draws and one defeat which was against Booma FC (2-3).
The Luweero side has avoided a goal in their net three times in those five games at home.
On the side of the visitors Mbarara City FC, they lead with 22 points, two above second placed Kitara FC who on the same day host Kyetume FC in Hoima.
Sadiq Sempigi coached team is the only remaining unbeaten team of the 16 teams, won six and drawn four.
The Ankole Lions have collected nine points from the possible nine in the last three matches where they have also not Conceded a goal.
Their last fixture was a 1-0 narrow home victory over Kitara FC, striker Henry Kitegenyi scoring the all important goal.
He Kitegenyi is the second league scorer with ten goal level with Patrick Henry Kaddu from Kitara FC.
They are one goal bellow Omedi Denis from Booma FC who has eleven.
Mbarara City FC have won one of the four games they have played away from home.
The other three have been draws, two being goalless and one ending 1-1.
Should the Ankole Lions pick three points from Luweero, they will remain on top regardless of the result from Hoima between Kitara FC and Kyetume FC.
