Tooro golf club has since 2008 held an annual golf tournament in memory of the deceased legislator whose roots are traced to the Babiito royal clan. Last year the event was not held due to Covid 19 pandemic.
The annual tournament is usually held at the beginning of May or late April and this year is no different. This Saturday’s 13th edition tees off at 7am-9:30 Am and 11:40am-2pm and it will attract both Men and women golfers.
The event will attract Tooro’s cream such as Isaiah Mwesige, Emmanuel Jakisa, Denis Asaba and Lillian Koowe. Denis Asaba won the 10th edition when he dethroned Ronald Rugumayo at the event that has been majorly financed by the late’s family.
