Fans will not be allowed to attend the next two Mbale Heroes’ home fixtures after the FUFA competitions disciplinary committee ruled that the club failed to control it’s fans and ignored the Federation’s SOPs on Covid 19 during the home fixture against Arua Hill FC at the Mbale Municipal stadium.

The club announced on it’s official social media account that a verdict had been reached by the FUFA competitions disciplinary committee that no fan will be allowed in the stadium in the next two home games and that a fine of Shs. 500,000 had been placed on the team.

The fans are to miss the second last game of the first round against Black Power FC and the Mbale derby fixture against Kataka FC.

The club father informed it’s followers that Joel Ayella and Brian Olega were suspended for the next two games for breach of article 30 (2) of the FCR and Karenzi Jamaldine was also cautioned. Joel Ayella and Brian Olega are alleged to have incited violence by inciting fans to enter the field

The sanction comes after Mbale Heroes won their first game of the season in the Big League after shocking Maroons FC 1-0 away in Luzira.
