At the FUFA Technical Center Njeru today, Malaba Youth Development Association (MYDA) overcame Kyetume 1-0 on match day 15 of the Uganda Premier League to register the first win of the season.
After a goalless first 45 minutes of the game, the second half started with MYDA FC looking for their first win of the season. They had to wait until there were 20 minutes left on the clock for Paul Musamali to score the only goal to give them a 1:0 victory over Kyetume FC.
With their earlier draws, MYDA FC now sits on the 15th position, after displacing Kitara from that position.
Ever since sacking their coach Charles Livingstone Mbabazi, Kyetume FC has not yet won any single game, which has dragged them to the relegation fights, they now occupy 14th position on the league table.
