NEC FC to keep table leaders at bay in Kyetume Fc visit |FUFA Big League

Fixture: Kyetume FC Vs NEC FC.

NEC FC will hope to keep FUFA Big League table leaders Kitara FC at bay as they visit Kyetume FC at Nakisunga ssaza ground on Thursday 12th of January.

The die hards (NEC FC) are level with Kitara FC at 27 points after 13 matches, eleven goals separate the two teams.

The Bugolobi based side beat Lugazi FC 0-1 away at Lugazi play ground in the recent game, thanks Kamoga Ivan lone goal.

Lukyamuzi Michael coached side has gone the last five matches without conceding a goal and unbeaten, won three and drawn two.

They are undefeated in the last fixtures away from home beating Lugazi FC and Booma FC with a score line of 0-1 each and setting for a burren draw with Karo Karungi FC.

The last time NEC FC suffered defeat was against Soroti City FC 1-0 on 24th of November 2022.

It is important to note that the only two losses NEC FC has suffered this season all have come away from home against Soroti City FC 1-0 and Kirara FC 2-0.

On the other side Kyetume FC head to this fixture having lost 3-0 on the road to Luweero United.

This was the seven loss for the Mukono based side after thirteen matches, won and drawn three a piece. They are 13th on the table with 12 points.

Back home, Kyetume FC are unbeaten in five games with five victories and two draws.

Kyetume FC were held to a 1-1 stalemate by Lugazi fc in their last fixture at their home base.

In case NEC FC pick maximum points from Mukono and Kitara FC either lose or draw the Bugolobi side will head to the last fixture of first round on top of the table.
