With a number of leagues across the globe coming to a close, few Ugandans were in action while some did not make the bench.

Roberto Kakeeto did not make the team as Aalborg failed to secure qualification to the UEFA Europa Conference League after losing 3-2 on penalties against Aarhus. The match ended 1-1 after extra time.

Khalid Aucho was deemed not fit for Misr Lel Makkasa’s 1-0 home win against Ghazl El Mahallah in the Egyptian Premier League. This was Aucho’s third missed match ever since he was attacked by an illness.

New Uganda Cranes captain started from the bench in Al Ittihad’s 2-0 away win against Aswan. This was Okwi’s first game after being named the successor of the retired captain Denis Onyango.

Mustafa Kizza came on in added time for Zohran Bassong as Club de Foot Montreal came back to winning ways with a 1-0 away win against Chicago Fires. It was Montreal’s first win after losing two consecutive matches in the MLS. The win moved Montreal to fifth on the table.

Edward Kizza was an impact substitute for New England’s 1-0 Away win against FC Cincinnati. The win enabled New England Revolution to stay on top of the table with 17 points after round 8 of matches.

Isaac Muleme played a full 90 minutes as Zizkov ended the season on a high with a 2-0 home win against Mas Taborsko. Zizkov finished the season in 4th position with 42 points.
