No room for error as Kataka FC welcomes struggling Booma FC in Mbale.

Kataka FC vs Booma FC.

Struggling Booma FC make a long and difficult trip to Mbale where they face Kataka FC at Mbale municipal stadium on Thursday 29th of December.

The Masindi side has gone four matches without a win where they have drawn and lost two each.

A head to this fixture, they were 0-1 home losers against NEC FC in their recent game.

The last time the Tukyate Boys played away from home they lost 1-0 to Lugazi FC.

This is their seventh match on the road, they have managed two victories coming against Northern Gateway FC and Luweero United, drawn one with Kyetume FC.

The other three have been losses over Adjumani Town Council FC, Lugazi FC and Mbarara City FC.

Coach Alinaitwe Fred side has recorded four wins from the eleven games played sofar, drawn three and lost four. 

They sit 6th on the FUFA Big League table with 15 points.

The 2021/22 Stanbic Uganda cup semi finalists have scored and Conceded fifteen goals each.

Eleven of the goals have been scored by the club captain Omedi Denis who is the second top scorer one bellow Patrick Henry Kaddu from Kitara fc who has twelve.

The home team Kataka FC are 10th on the table with 13 points after eleven matches. Registered four wins, three draws and four losses.

The Mbale side has been hosting home games at FUFA technical center in Njeru following last season’s ban from FUFA.

They returned to their home base Mbale municipal stadium on matchday ten and thumped Karo Karungi Fc 4-0.

Kataka Fc are undefeated in the last two games, won and drawn one each.

Victory today will take them above their opponents moving to 16 points as Booma Fc remain at 15.

This is the first ever meeting between the two clubs.
