Kitara FC made a long trip to the Green light stadium in Arua looking to pick up the maximum 3 points against the Arua Boys.

But with the home team’s poor run of form in the league in the last 3 matches, they were also looking to come back to winning ways in this round 17 fixture of the UPL.

First half started with the visiting team taking an early lead in the 17th minutes of the game. However Mahdi Adobe equalized for the home team only 6 minutes later to restore parity to the fixture.

Despite all the pressure in attack from both sides, the first half ended 1 : 1 with all teams looking favorites to win the game.

The second half started with the home team asking all the questions.

Finally in the 63rd minute, their questions were answered by another goal that was scored by Noel Nasasira to make iit 2 : 1 in favor of the Arua Boys.

And that was still the scoreline at the end of playtime.

Onduparaka remain in 8th position with this win while Kitara FC remained rooted at the bottom of the table on only 5 points after 17 games played this season.
