Onduparaka FC, a West Nile-based Uganda Premier League team, will have two separate homes according to the Uganda Premier League’s 2022–23 schedule, which was revealed on Thursday.
In addition to their venue, Greenlight Stadium, Arua, the Caterpillars will play their home matches at Bombo Military Barracks Ground.
They will play their first five home games at Bombo.
The change is a result of the hooliganism they committed during their match against KCCA FC in Arua last year.
They will host SC Villa, Express FC, Busoga United FC, Wakiso Giants FC, and KCCA FC for their five home matches.
Onduparaka’s season will begin against URA FC on the road on Saturday, October 1.
Arua Hill SC, their arch-rival, would play all of its games at the Greenlight Stadium throughout the season rather than their customary Barifa Stadium, as stated in the fixtures.
The administration of Onduparaka FC has clarified that they have challenged the ruling prohibiting them from playing 5 games behind closed doors and outside of West Nile and are still awaiting the Appeals committee’s decision.
The declaration also unequivocally indicates that there is no arrangement allowing Arua Hill SC to use Greenlight Stadium as their home field with Onduparaka FC.
