Patrick Kaddu, Omedi Denis in race for FUFA Big League golden boot

After just thirteen matches played in the 2022/23 FUFA Big League season, the fight for the golden boot is already taking a big fight.

Kitara FC striker Patrick Henry Kaddu and Booma FC skipper Omedi Denis are not giving each other breathing space every matchday.

On matchday thirteen Kaddu took his tally to fourteen goals after scoring in a 1-1 away draw against Soroti City FC.

This was the third time Kaddu has scored once in a match this season. He has bagged one hat trick and four braces sofar.

After three consecutive games without finding the back of the net, Omedi Denis  scored a brace as they lost 2-3 at home to Calvary Fc on matchday thirteen.

Omedi is joined by teammates in celebrations.

He has managed four braces this campaign against Luweero United, Calvary FC, Jinja North United FC and Karo Karungi FC.

The Booma fc skipper currently has thirteen goals one below Kaddu.

The two goal poachers will return to action on Thursday 12th of January as Booma FC will be away to Police FC while Kitara FC at home entertain Adjumani Town Council FC.

Kitara FC are at the top with 27 points after thirteen matches while Booma FC sit 9th with 15 points.
