For the second successive campaign, SC Villa and Police have played to a 2 : 2 goal in the league.

SC Villa took an early advantage through Muhammad Ssenoga in the 19th minutes, before Police’s Johnson Odong followed up his Man of the match performance in their last game against Bright Stars with a goal from the penalty spot to level matters.

Goffin Oyirwoth got SC Villa back into the game with only 10 minutes to the halftime whistle. The first half ended 2 : 1 in favour of the home side.

Second half started with Villa looking to cement their lead with another goal, but it was the Police FC debutant Henry Kisekka, who managed to equalize for the visitors in the 51 minutes to make it 2 : 2.

Despite either side giving it their best, the score remained tied at the final whistle. The draw means the two teams have held each other on the previous five league meetings with three encounters ending 2 : 2 while the remaining two were one all draws.
