The five time league champions suspended head coach Arnold Lando indefinitely.

The Kenyan presided over the club’s worst start to a season. They have lost their first 5 games so far this term.

It is believed such form is the reason why Lando and his assistant Emmanuel Shikuku, were suspended with no further information about when he will return.

Bernice Ankunda has been handed the reins to save the season with only four games left to the end of the season.

Team manager Phillip Kyomuhendo says the team’s aim is to win its next three games.

Power believes they are in safe hands with Ankunda who helped the team win their last championship in 2011.

Power faces KCCA Panthers, Namuwongo Blazers, Falcons and KCCA Panthers in their remaining games.

Kyomuhendo hopes Ankunda will be able to work with former Power player Carol Bisereko to help the team to a few wins and salvage the team’s position on the table.

They currently lie bottom of the log with zero wins in the season followed by Falcons.
