WARRIORS 13- 23 RHINOS
Warriors are in desperate need of a win hitting blanks in all seven games they have played this season. Coming into game week seven, they faced a Rhinos side who were in a fight of their own to catch up with Mongers in fifth.
As it has become a custom for most Rhinos games, they gifted Warriors a tree seedling apparently to have a rest in the future under a shade. But that’s where all the niceties ended. Man of the match Ambrose Ocen set the tone for most of the good things in the game.
Rhinos opened the score with quick early three points. A few moments later they were awarded a penalty for a Warriors high tackle and Emma Kwebikanga stepped up to make it 3 in 3. They went into half time leading 9-0. Emma Kwebikanga converted a try after Daniel Nshimyimana powered his way into the try area. The Warriors had a try but failed to convert to make it 16-8. Musa Bulega crossed the try line and Ivan Kirabo converted well before Warriors got a consolation try.
The game ended 23-13 to Rhinos with struggling Warriors facing an unwanted record of ending the season without a win.
