Robertinho promises big in Tanzania as he takes up new role at Simba

Just after a few days when the brazilian parted ways with Uganda Premier League reigning champions, Vipers sports club, Robertinho was unveiled today 3rd January 2022 at Sports Club Simba as the new head coach.

“I believe in good plans and those good plans can make you go as far as semifinals and finals and also make you win the titles,” said Robertinho during the press.

“During my time at Vipers, many believed we couldn’t go past TP Mazembe but due to our plans, we managed to knock them out,” he stretched. 

Before Robertinho crossed to Simba in Tanzania, he managed to win the league cup and the Stanbic Uganda Cup and also reached the finals of the same cup.

A period of 19 months that he spent at Vipers clearly tells the nature of the coach he was or he will be at his new club in Tanzania.

“His exposure to East African football is what 100% attracted us to this position as we believe he can push us to bigger heights as a club,” the club chairman said.

His profile and quality of football that he has produced over the year with a lot of experience in East African football, alot shall be expected from him as he takes the role of head coach at Simba.
