Whenever there is a jackfruit tree growing on the road side, every passerby will touch the jackfruit. The situation relates to the way the She Cranes are treating the Namibians at the ongoing SPAR challenge.

After emphatic wins in the previous two meetings by the She Cranes, the third match has been no difference with the Ugandan team taking command right from the first quarter where they led by 18-3. The 2nd quarter saw them extend the lead to 13-9.

The Debmarine Desert Jewels put up a great fight in the 3rd and 4th quarters but a powerful performance by She Cranes ensured that Uganda won 57 -27.

Uganda’s WD Shaffie Nalwanja was the player of the match.

Before today’s fixture, South Africa were leading the table with 8 points and a goal difference of 85 from 4 games, Uganda in second position with 4 points and a goal difference of 28 in 4 matches while Namibia is rooted at the bottom of the table with no point and -113 goal difference.
