After losing three and winning three games at the SPAR challenge in South Africa, the National netball team the She Cranes maintained their seventh position in the world after receiving 3524 points with a 122 rating.

South Africa is the highest ranked country in Africa at 5th position with 6784 points at a rating of 124. This comes mainly after South Africa won all her games at the 2021 SPAR challenge series which they hosted. Malawi is another African team in the top 10 after being ranked 6th, ahead of Uganda by 186 points.

The She Cranes need to be active and win more games to stand a chance of being part of the participating teams at the Birmingham 2022 commonwealth games after new regulations were set by INF outlining the qualification process of the games in March 2021.

The new regulations state that the twelve places at the commonwealth games will be determined by INF World ranking with one spot reserved for the host nation.
