Soroti City FC 1-1 Kitara FC.
Kitara FC were held to a 1-1 by Soroti City FC at Soroti play ground on Thursday 5th January.
Striker Patrick Henry Kaddu put Kitara FC in a 1-0 lead in the 44th after the goalkeeper had fumbled with Moses Sseruyidde’s heavy shot.
Kaddu took his goal tally to fourteen from thirteen matches still the league top scorer.
Lawrence Olaboro leveled matters in the 49th minute cancelling out Kaddu’s first half goal, hence 1-1.
Despite dropping two points on the day Kitara FC remain top of the table with 27 points level with NEC FC who managed a 0-1 away win over Lugazi FC thanks to Ivan Kamoga solo goal.
A better twenty three goal difference puts Kirara FC above NEC FC on the FUFA Big League table after thirteen games.
Soroti City FC move to eleven points but remain second from bottom (15th) on the table.
This was Kitara FC’s third draw of the season all coming away from home. Other two were against Booma FC (2-2) and Police FC (0-0).
For Soroti City FC they are winless in the last two games, coming to this games, they had suffered a 6-0 defeat to Mbarara City FC.
On matchday fourteen to be played on Thursday 12th of January, Kitara FC will be at home Kigaya play ground taking on Adjumani Town Council FC while Soroti City FC will be away to Luweero United
