In the bit of transfer news doing the rounds in Ugandan football today, Masaza Cup 2020 top scorer Charles Bbaale has crossed over to Buganda regional entity Kajjansi United Football Club on a short term deal. Charles Bbaale was the top scorer of the just concluded Masaza 2020 Cup with Gomba. The development was confirmed by the player’s representative Denis Namanya of Prosper Sports Agency. In his statement Denis Namanya confirmed that they have reached an agreement with the management of Kajjansi United Football Club for Charles Bbaale to play for them for one season.
Charles Bbaale set ablaze the 2020 Masaza Cup and he finished the competition as the top scorer with 8 goals to his name as he led his side Gomba to their fifth Masaza Cup title. He has been playing for Mbarara based Terrazzo and Tiles which is now playing in the FUFA Big League.
Terrazzo and Tiles was promoted from the Western regional league to the second division and he has played a big part in earning the club promotion to the Big League.
Bbaale at Kajjansi United will link up with the likes of 2020 Masaza Cup Most Valuable Player (MVP) Arafat Usama, among other players who are currently playing for the club.
