North Alabama has announced the capture of Ugandans goal keeper Paul Musoke and attacker Andrew Nkurunungi in preparation for the inaugural National football league. Nkurunungi, a Bachelors degree holder in computer Science and MS in Bioinformatics has been without a professional club football ever since he left SC Villa for a sports study scholarship in 2010. He has majorly featured in amateur football for Alabama A & M university team the BullDogs and Rocket City United.
Saidi Kyeyune is set to return to URA FC after the midfielder continues to be frustrated with Sudanese club Al merrikh. The midfielder who signed for Al Merrikh early this year after impressive performances at the CHAN tournament has not played competitive football since the club was eliminated from CAF champions league.His return will be an added advantage to the tax collectors who are pushing for the league title this season.
BUL FC have appointed former coach Alex Isabirye as the club’s caretaker coach until the end of the season after sacking Arthur Kyesimira. This will be Isabirye’s second stint at the Busoga based club. The decision to sack Kyesimira was a result of the poor results and performances that were deemed not acceptable by the club. Isabirye has been without a club ever since he was sacked by Kyetume early this month.
