The national soccer team, the Cranes, held a recovery practice session at KCCA’s Philip Omondi Stadium before winding up with a swimming pool session at Silver Springs Hotel in Bugolobi on Thursday.

The recovery session was meant to prepare the team for the next game against Malawi and enable the players to put behind the memories of last Wednesday’s disappointing goalless draw with Burkina Faso.

The team is set to have several training sessions before finally departing for Malawi aboard a chartered Bombardier on Sunday morning.

Meanwhile an advance team has already set off for Malawi. The team which was led by National teams’ Officer Paul Mukatabala and FUFA head of medical Dr. James Ssekajugo left for Malawi on Friday to get a feel of the environment and prepare for the arrival of the national team.
