As part of the CHAN preparations, the national men’s football team that landed in Tunisia on 2nd January 2022 will play a set of competitive friendly matches which are meant to stir up the boys in order to put up a great show in Algeria.

Ahead of the friendlies and CHAN games, the Uganda Cranes coach believes the selected men to represent the country are in a great position to give the much needed performance.

Sudan, Cameroon and Mali are the three nations that Uganda cranes will play in Tunisia before switching to Algeria.

Uganda has strategically selected the teams to face in the friendlies in a way to try and relate to the teams that they will face during the CHAN competition with Sudan having put up a strong fight and being runners up twice at CHAN.

Having Ivory Coast and Senegal in the group, Uganda thought they could play Mali and have that West Africa touch and try to predict what will happen when the tournament starts.

Due to Democratic Republic of Congo in the group, the selection of having Cameroon in the friendly games tells it all that Uganda is trying to taste that Central Africa dance.
