The Uganda Cricket Association has embarked on a country wide journey to promote the game of cricket upcountry as a way of promoting corporate social responsibility.
After successfully completing a three weeks hardball training which concluded with a challenge between Metro Tyres and Keshwalla in Gulu, attention has shifted to the Lira clinic.
The association’s development officer Grace Mutyagaba immediately shifted her attention to Lira City where she conducted introductory hardball training to the secondary schools and the Asian Community.
Along with the cricket coordinator Mr. Omara Paul, they visited a number of schools in Lira City both primary and secondary schools with emphasis on Lira Town College, Comboni College and Lango College which were earmarked for the sports project.
