The return leg between Luwero United and Onduparaka  in the Uganda Cup took place today at 10:00am EAT. The match was postponed yesterday due to torrential rain that flooded the Kosovo arena in Kasana, Luwero.

The visiting fans had to wait another night before they could watch their team progress to the next round of this competition.

Match proceedings were tough with each side failing to penetrate the other’s defence. This resulted in the first half ending in a goalless draw

The second half started off with very limited goal chances being created in the game. However when the home team conceded a red card, the balance of the match tipped in Onduparaka’s favour and in the 85th minute, Mukiidi Ali scored the lone goal of the match.

Onduparaka joins the likes of URA, Maroons, Bul, Proline etc in waiting for the round of 16 draw that will decide which teams they will each play against.
