KCCA FC host Maroons FC in the second leg of their round of 16 encounter having won the first leg 2-0 away at Maroons.
KCCA FC will be hoping they can continue the good run in the Uganda Cup and maintain their 100 percent record thus far.
Morley Byekwaso’s charges know that cup football is a strong opportunity for the side to pick silverware this season given the 13 time league Champions languish in the 4th position on the UPL table with 10 points behind leaders URA FC.
Another win against Maroons in this return leg of the Uganda Cup will instill more confidence in the side ahead of the final run-in of games to the end of the season.
In the last 13 games between both sides; KCCA FC has won 10, lost once and both sides have drawn on two occasions.
In the last six games played between both sides at Lugogo, KCCA FC has won five times lost none and drawn once with Maroons FC
Assistant captain Julius Poloto and Ashraf Mugume are back after missing the last three and five games respectively due to injury.
Teenage forward Samuel Ssenyonjo, Fillbert Obenchan, Charles Lwanga and Brian Aheebwa will miss the game due to injury.
The game comes a little too early for John Revita who started training with the first team but is yet to gain full match fitness. Julius Poloto is back in training.
Teenagers Dominic Ayella and Kafumbe Joseph are ruled out due to school commitments.
