The Uganda Sports Press Association (USPA) sports personalities for November were chosen from among the National Ludo Team, the Uganda Doves, the world champions.
At the USPA monthly meeting conducted on Monday morning at the headquarters of the Uganda Olympic Committee in Lugogo, the Uganda Doves were crowned the winners.
This came after they won the global championship by defeating Pakistan 4-0 in the championship game.
They beat out the National U20 Football team, the Hippos, to win the monthly award.
Against the Hippos’ 285 points, the Uganda Doves scored 385. The Hippos won the CECAFA Regional Championship again last month in Sudan, and they also earned a spot in Egypt for the 2023 U20 Africa Cup of Nations.
