Prior to the 2022–23 Netball Super League season, the planning and organizing committee that the Uganda Netball Federation (UNF) has tasked with organizing its events began inspecting the stadiums.
The new season is tentatively scheduled to begin at Kamwokya Community Sports Centre in Kampala during the first week of September 2022.
A total of 14 clubs are anticipated to participate in this year’s edition.
Instead of concentrating on the center region, as has typically been the case, the committee opted to at least host the league on several grounds with the intention of introducing the game to different sections of the country.
Six venues were selected to host the league provided that they meet the requirements.
And among those locations are the Air Force Grounds in Entebbe, the Prison Grounds in Luzira, the Kamwokya Community Sports Center in Kamwokya, the Weyonje Grounds in Kibuli, the Busia Greater Lions Netball Arena, and the Busia Prison Grounds.
Busia Greater Lions Netball Arena, Kamwokya Community Sports Ground, Weyonje Grounds, and Prison Grounds are the four locations that have so far been assessed.
