Kampala Capital City Authority (KCCA) today bounced back to their winning ways with a 2:0 home victory over Kyetume at the MTN Omondi Stadium, Lugogo on Sunday. The home team had been in bad form following their 3 match  streak without a win in the league. Today, they won against Kyetume who are a candidate for relegation.

Julius Poloto and Samuel Ssenyonjo got the two goals that handed KCCA a win against Kyetume after going winless in 3 consecutive matches at Lugogo. The Kasasiro boys went in front in the 21st minute through their main man Julius Poloto in the first half to lead 1:0 going into halftime.

After a 15 minutes break, the two teams returned for the second half, with KCCA looking the most deadly side in the game. They exerted their influence on the game despite Kyetume FC’S desire to win inorder to better their relegation chances. In the 65th minute, Sam Ssenyonjo pulled the flag from long range to score the goal, ending Kyetume’s hope of coming back into the game. The Kasasiro boys managed to defend their 2:0 goal lead until the end of the full 90 minutes and kept the scoreline in favor of themselves.

With the 3 points secured today,  KCCA moved back to the  fourth position with 43 points after 24 games played this season. As for Kyetume FC this was  a complete blow to their relegation fighting chance as they are 14th with 20 points and 24 matches played.
