Uganda Rugby Union in evaluation process by the National Council of Sports

On 17th, March 2021, the National Council of Sports visited Uganda Rugby Union in an evaluation exercise to verify their compliance to the NCS statutory Instrument No. 38 of 2014. 

The verification benchmarks include; 

Current approved Constitution of the Uganda Rugby Union.

Current list of Executive committees, administrative staff and their contacts

Current list of all members and their phone numbers

Report from the last Annual General Meeting assembly held.

Current approved budget and work plan for the year 2021 to 2022

Audited books of accounts and templates of sources of funding

Current strategic development plan

Confirmation of affiliation of all the respective bodies of your federation

Annual activity reports of 2019,2020 and 2021

Current approved Standard Operating Procedures against the Covid19 pandemic

Data on active officiating officials, referees, umpires, instructors accredited, both National and International scene.

List of registered academies as of 2020 to 2021

Existing data on registered players including professional and their ranking period 2018,2019,2020,2021.

Current template of world rugby ranking.

List of districts participating in rugby with proof

A copy of the updated Asset Register of rugby.

Ivan Nuwagaba, Ivan Mugowa,Mr.David Katende,Ms.Anne Nankya.and Executive Committee members Peter Odong (Secretary) Dorothy Nekesa (GIR executive) Godwin Kayangwe (President) Oscar Olaro (VP Technical) and Ramsey Olinga the CEO of Uganda Rugby Union.
