Uganda Stumbles on first show up against Argentina in Dubai Rugby 7s

Half time came with good news for all Ugandans as they were in the lead at the break in their first game of the Dubai Emirates Invitational Rugby 7s. The South Americans trailed the East Africans by a score of 12 : 14. 

Argentina took the first lead in the early stages of the first half as they took two tries to take a lead of 12 : 00. 

Uganda fired back as the half neared the end with two tries from Phillip Wokorach and Michael Wokorach. Michael Wokorach made a conversion and ensured Uganda went into the break with a 12 : 14 lead. 

The second half had tables turn with Argentina coming out stronger and made a quick try to jump into a 17 : 14 lead. Uganda undid their good work in the first half when Wokorach lost control with a dangerous tackle for which the referee gave him his marching orders. 

Argentina came out guns blazing with a numerical advantage and with the score already in their favour. The South Americans smelled blood and went for the kill. The South Americans scored two more tries to take the tie to 31 : 14 and ensure a win for Argentina. 

Next up for Uganda is Canada at 2:22 pm  EAT before playing the last game of the day against Japan at 4:13 pm (EAT)
