With the last fixtures of international football in the international break being played on Wednesday, attention turns back to the domestic leagues.

UG sports did an initial wrap of the Ugandan International’s action earlier: https://ugsports.net/ugandan-football-internationals-easter-weekend-wrap/. And now we bring you the second part of the Easter holidays features of our boys abroad.

Good Friday:

If called upon, Salim Jamal will look to prove to Denis Onyango that he is his rightful successor between the sticks for the national team.

Salim Jamal’s second placed Al Hillal entertain Denis Onyago’s table leaders Mamelodi Sundowns on Friday in the CAF Champions League.

In the group’s other game, Ugandan defender Joseph Ochaya will be hoping to keep his starting spot when TP Mazembe visits Algeria Belouizdad later in the day. Mazembe are bottom of the group with 2 points.

Khalid Aucho will be looking to put his Cranes troubles behind when his club Misr Lel Makkasa host Derrick Nsibambi’s Smouha in the Egyptian Premier League.

Aucho featured for the entire 90 minutes for his club’s last game against Arab Contractors while Nsibambi was unused substitute for Smouha’s 5 : 0 win against Aswan in the last league fixture before the international break.

Having made himself not available for the cranes against Burkina Faso and Malawi, Ugandan forward Uche Mubiru will seek to maintain his starting spot as bottom club Wycombe FC play host to 15th placed Blackburn Rovers in the English Championship.

Easter Saturday:

Injured Uganda Cranes duo of Timothy Awanyi and Fahad Bayo will need to pass a late fitness test for Ashdod’s Championship play-off match against Shmona.

Daniel Isiagi will be in action for Jomo Cosmos away to Pretoria Callies in the South African National First Division.

Easter Sunday:

Czech League Two club Zizkov will be looking to recall Ivan Muleme to the starting eleven away at Hradec Kralove as the Ugandan came on as a 55th substitute in their 2 : 1 home loss to Prostejov in their previous league fixture.

Moses Opondo’s Odense will play away to Horsens in the Danish league relegation group match.

Farouk Miya’s Konyaspor play away to Erzurum BB in the Turkish Super Liga. UG sports can not clarify whether the Ugandan striker is an option to feature in the game.
