Goalkeeper Mathias Kigonya has returned to Sofapaka FC after four years.
The 26-year goalie has been without a club since June this year when he left Tanzania Premier League side Azam FC.
Kigonya’s first Sofapaka FC stint was between 2016 and 2018.
At the start of the 2018/19 season, Kigonya joined another Kenya side Kakamega Homeboys FC
In the summer of 2019, he left for Zambia signing for Forest Rangers FC.
In 2021, he was captured by Tanzanian outfit Azam FC where he ran down his employment contract in June 2022.
Kigonya while in Uganda, played for Soltilo Brighters FC between 2014 and 2016.
