Alexis Bakka played a full 90 minutes as Umea FC won 1-0 at home to IFK Lulea in the Swedish division 1 Norra. Umea are third on the table with 26 points after round 12 of fixtures.

Both Nicholas Wadada and Mathias Kigonya started for Azam Fc in the 4-1 win against Gwambina. Wadada created the chance from the free kick that resulted in Azam’s first goal but a mis-calculated cross by Kigonya gifted the visitors a first half equalizer for the visitors.

Allan Okello’s Paradou lost 1-0 to CR Belouizdad in the Algerian League 1.  The Ugandan attacker did not make the match day squad. This was Paradou’s fourth consecutive match without a win.

Ismael Watenga received a yellow card as Chippa United opened their relegation play off with a 2-1 win against Richard Bay.

Edward Kizza was an unused substitute as New England Revolution defeated New York City 3-2 to stay five points clear of second placed Orlando City.

Tadeo Lwanga played a starring role as Simba came away 1-0 victors against Polisi Tanzania. The win helped Simba to maintain their three-point advantage at the top of the Ligi kuu Bara although they still have a three match advantage over second placed Young Africans.
