Uganda’s Khalid Aucho plays full time in Yanga Africans’ win over Azam FC| Tanzania premier league

Yanga Africans FC 2-1 Azam FC.

Uganda Cranes midfield maestro Khalid Aucho started his third game in a row for Yanga Africans FC as they shared spoils with Azam FC.

The fixture was played on Tuesday 6th September at Benjamin Mkapa stadium in Dar es Salaam.

Feisal Salam bagged a brace for the hosts while Denis Amoah and Malickou Ndoye for Azam FC.

This was Yanga Africans FC’s first draw from the opening three games in the Tanzania premier league.

They have won the other two, 2-0 Coastal Union FC and 2-1 Tanzania Police FC.

They are on the table with seven points, one above Simba FC who have played two games.

Next on agenda for Yanga Africans FC is a trip to South Sudan to take on Zalan Fc in the first leg of the CAF Champions league preliminary round on Saturday 10th September.

Their next league fixture will be on 13th September at home welcoming Mtibwa Sugar FC.

Aucho joined Yanga Africans FC in the summer of 2021 from El Makkasa FC.
