Kampala Capital City Authority Football Club (KCCA FC) striker Sam Ssenyonjo move to Soltilo Brighters FC is imminent.

This is after the two parties have held a number of talks and the deal looks to be ripe.

Ssenyonjo spent half of last season on loan at Wakiso Giants FC where he scored two league goals from seven games.

At the end of the season also the expiry of his six months loan with Purple sharks, he was not willing to return to the Kasasiro boys.

Ssenyonjo’s refusal to KCCA FC return is because of fear of not enough playing time.

Though the club has released strikers in Patrick Kaddu, Erisa Ssekisambu and Davis Kasirye, they have too signed Shaban Muhammad from Onduparaka FC and Congolese front man Kankonde Tshisungu.

Former Mbarara city FC tali’s man Brian Aheebwa is also still at the club.

Since 2019 joining the Lugogo side, Ssenyonjo has netted 10 goals from 15 league appearances.

Should the deal go through, the youngster will add goals to the Soltilo Brighters FC front line which scored only 26 from 30 last season.
