Godfrey Lwesibawa signing a contract at Kitara FC

FUFA Big League entity Kitara FC have confirmed their first January transfer window arrival as Godfrey Lwesibawa.

Lwesibawa who joins the royals from Gaddafi FC signed a six months contract with an option to extension.

The pacy winger was part of the Express FC squad that won the 2021/2022 Uganda premier league title and CECAFA Kagame Cup with coach Wasswa Bbosa who he followed to Gaddafi FC at the start of this season.

At Gaddafi FC Lwesibawa managed seven league matches without a goal.

Lwesibawa brings alot of experience to Kitara FC having played for SC Villa, Tooro United, Express FC and recently Gaddafi FC.

At Kitara FC, Lwesibawa joins fellow wingers Akugizibwe Stuart, Bwambale Lazaro and Davis Ssali who he will battle it out for the starting place in coach Mark Twinamasiko’s line up.

He will make his debut at the start of second round.

Lwesibawa arrives at Kitara FC with Kitara FC being on top of the FUFA Big League table with 30 points after 14 matches.

Their last fixture in first round will be away to Karo Karungi FC on Thursday 19th of January 2023.
