UPDF 3-1 Gaddafi

UPDF FC had gone nine games without a win and yesterday at home, the soldiers thrashed Gaddafi FC by three to pick a second win.

The side played against the stubborn Gaddafi FC and Rogers Adriko scored three goals to help his side pick maximum points.

UPDF won two penalties, both taken by Adriko who also scored a late goal in the 87th minute with an assisted by Douglas Oyirwoth.

Gaddafi FC also picked up an early goal through Brian Kalumba assisted by Godfrey Lwesibawa early on in the 20th minute.

With this loss, Coach Waswa Bbosa’s Gaddafi sit in the 7th position with 18 points, 8 points away from the log leaders KCCA FC.

On the other hand, UPDF’s second win the season lifts  the club to the 12th position with only 10 points after 13 games.

UPDF still has a bit of work to do given their current position on the log and their negative goal difference.

Coach Brian Ssenyondo of UPDF FC needs to revive his side otherwise the club is closer to relegation.
