Uganda Premier League side, Uganda Revenue Authority Football Club (URA FC), has reached an agreement to sign Derrick Nsibambi.
The former KCCA FC striker has been training with the tax collectors for the last two weeks.
Nsibambi is a free agent after he left Ethiopian side Sebeta City FC at the end of last season.
At Sebeta City, he featured 14 times, scoring two.
The 26-year front man last featured in the Uganda Premier League in the 2017/18 campaign while at KCCA FC.
That season, Nsibambi won the league trophy and Uganda Cup with the Kasasiro boys.
On leaving Uganda, he headed to Smouha FC in Egypt where he was for three years, scoring 6 goals from 39 games.
Should he join URA FC, he will fight for the starting place up front with new signing Ssenkaba George, Vianne Sekajugo, and Dada Ibrahim.
Striker Steven Mukwala and Cromwell Rwothomio have left this window to Asante Kotoko FC in Ghana and Vipers SC respectively.
