Saturday’s early kick-off match in the Uganda premier league saw Vipers FC, the table leaders, making a long trip to Arua to face Onduparaka FC, at the Greenlight Stadium in Arua. The game was moved backward from 4PM to 1PM (on Sanyuka TV request) and it was played under intense heat of the West Nile.

The visitors paid no respect to the home boys by putting 3 goals past them. With both teams trying to find space, the away team took the lead after 26 minutes through Ibrahim Orit who slotted home perfectly for the visitors. This was followed by two more second half goals in the 60’ and 63’ mins by Cesar Manzoki and Paul Mucureezi to put the game to bed.

A late penalty in the 90’ min ensured the home boys pulled one back to end the game 1-3 in favor of the visitors. The win means that Vipers FC stays on top of the table with only 2 points to separate them from second-placed Express FC.
