Result: Vipers SC 4-0 Onduparaka FC

The venoms put four past Onduparaka FC to bank three points and a good goal difference. Vipers SC played at home, out to make a statement after losing to Gaddafi FC away in Jinja.

The game today was one with a fine home performance for the venoms and indeed, the lads played like defending champions.

The venoms won a penalty early in the 20th minute, taken and buried by Bright Anukani from the spot and a few minutes later Abdu Karim Watambala doubled the lead through Milton Kariisa’s assist in the 24th minute.

So early in the game, Onduparaka FC looked finished with little to offer in front of the venom’s goal. Onduparaka’s goals keeper, Mathias Muwanga was busy stopping shot after shot.

Later in the 77th minute, Ibrahim Orit scored another to make it three with one hit on target.

In the 88th minute, Milton Kariisa scores the fourth to finish Onduparaka FC.

The new tactician on the roll, Coach Stephen Bogere names a squad for the day however, the venoms were too hot for his liking.

Coach Bogere picks up a team with a negative goal difference and yet to win a single game in the campaign so far.

Tonight, Vipers SC tops the table with 23 points and a goal difference of 14 goals having conceded only three goals in the campaign.
