After both teams scoring successes in the Uganda Cup by progressing to the last 8, KCCA tomorrow will host Vipers sports club, with the away team in much need of the 3 points to keep pace with table leaders URA,

The Defending champions will tomorrow, will be tussling it out in the afternoon at the Omondi Stadium in Lugogo. It will be interesting to see who will come out top between these two giants of Ugandan football. The home team was beaten 1-0 at St. Mary’s Stadium Kitende in the final game of the first half of the season.

Manager Morley Byekwaso expects a tough match between the two side and even though he expects his side to continue with the good run they had in the just concluded Uganda Cup that saw them knock out Maroons FC on a 5-0  aggregate and progress to the quarter final in the process.

For the Venoms, they need to pick up the maximum  points in this game if they are to stay within touching distance with the league leader URA.

Going into the game, KCCA will be without forwards Brian Aheebwa, Charles Lwanga, and Samuel Ssenyonjo who are out with injury, and their manager believes Sadat Anaku, Steven Sserwadda, and Bright Anukani, will be able to get the job done at home tomorrow.

A slip for vipers in this fixture will leave them 4 points behind leaders URA, and tomorrow they will try to win and collect all the 3 points to narrow the gap to only 1 point.
