The 3rd edition of Kyotera Health run organized by Dreams of the Tropical Youth Uganda, will be held virtually to commemorate International Women’s day on Monday. The theme will be “Supporting Girl Child Education Through Improving Menstrual Health For An Equal Future Of Women In Leadership In This COVID-19 World.”
The event has been taking place in Kyotera in South Western Ugandafor the last 2 years. This year however, participants will be required to run either as an individual or as a group for 10kms from any location of their choice at their pace and time on Monday 3rd march 2021.
The athletes will also be required to take Photos of themselves and post them on their social media platform and tag @DrotyUganda on Facebook & Twitter and @droty_uganda on Instagram and use the hashtag #Run4HerRights21.
A running vest goes for Ugx. 20,000 for local participants while international participants will be required to donate USD. 13.99 through www.drotyuganda.org/donate.
Uganda will join the rest of the world to commemorate International Women’s Day. The Global Theme this year is; “Women in Leadership: Achieving an equal future in a COVID-19 world.”
