Wahab Gaddafi converts late penalty to dim the Bright Stars

Arua Hill SC beat Bright Stars FC at home to collect maximum points as the season takes a bend, closing in on half season.  

Arua Hill had a stylish start with a beautiful goal from the young lad, Innocent Media to give the  Kongolo a head start.

Richard Matovu and Allan Mugalu provided moments of spark, coming close to net another for the Kongolo. 

Nelson Senkatuka and Ivan Irinimbabazi threatened the Kongolo defence however their efforts went above the cross bar.

In the 26th minute, the Kongolo touched the ball the in the box awarding Bright Stars a penalty which was converted by the big gun, Nelson Ssenkatuka.

Emmanula Loki, the king of mischief forced a save from Arua Hill’s keeper Omedwa to deny a lead for Bright Stars. 

Innocent Media got another chance with a flying header which was not converted, and in the 85th minute, Arua Hill SC  was awarded a penalty which was converted by Wahab Gaddafi. 

This loss means SOLTILO Bright Stars loses two games in a row and sits in the 8th positio with 17 points. 

Arua Hill SC which seemed free falling after a series of bad results is not in the 6th position with 22 points and 2 points away from regaining top four presence. 

Coach Asaph Mwebaze thought an outing like this would deliver three points but Arua Hill’s gaffer, Coach Livingstone Mbabazi had similar hunger.
