With the defending champions setting their sight on the big prize again this season, they hosted Wakiso Giants today at St. Mary’s Stadium Kitende, looking to extend their lead at the top of the table with a win. But it was the opposite of what they expected today, as the boys from Wakiso played with heart of the African lion today at home to Vipers to deny them 3 points in the game.
The venom was thrown in all they got in this game, but luck wasn’t on their side as the match ended 0:0 at full time whistle in Kitende. They remain top of the league with 43 points waiting for the result of the game between URA and SC Villa who play tomorrow. A win for URA will see them lead the table for the second time this season.
