SOLTILO  Bright Stars  were in full form having won their last four games on the bounce while Wakiso Giants had lost their last two including their first defeat at home.

Wakiso Giants had two failed attempts to top matters in the league, paving way for KCCA FC which unfortunately failed to collect maximum points.

Frank Ssebufu and Shariph Kimboowa scored to beat Bright Stars at Kavumba Recreation Grounds.

In the 41st minute, the midfielder Ssebuufu scored from Lawrence Bukenya’s cross which ended the held at 1-0 to the visitors.

In the second half, Bright Stars had more decent play with action from Player of the month, November, Nelson Ssenkatuka and Ivan Irinimbabazi who forced saves from Wakiso Giants’ man between the sticks.

However, the visitors kept their resolve, defending so well.

Later on the in 63rd minute, Ssebuufu’s flip met Kimboowa unmarked on the far which was far too easy for him to slot it home.

With this win, the Purple Sharks move to top four and only two points away from the log leaders, KCCA FC.

Bright Stars drop to 8th position with a decent 17 points, and only 6 points off the top four.
