Steven Sserwada made the hard decision to represent his country in the 2021 AFCON at the expense of writing his final O-level examinations. And he is not alone. Many of the boys making the right moves on the pitch in Mauritania should be making moves on paper with pens in exam rooms this week.

Coach Morley Bwekwaso must have recognized this sacrifice from the boys. He decided to throw in Steven Sserwada against Tunisia and the boy didn’t disappoint. He proved himself with genius moves on the right flank as the Hippos brought the North Africans to threads on Monday.
